Today, the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III was marked by a special service at Great St Mary's, The University Church, Cambridge.
A procession of University Officers and College Heads – from the Senate House to the Church – took place, during the second of two ‘Scarlet days’, with other members of the University also in attendance at the service. Those holding orders and decorations conferred by the Crown were invited to wear their insignia.
The celebrations finished with a reception at Michaelhouse in Trinity Street.
