United Nations - Wonder Woman has been designated as the UN Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls. DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson and surprise guests were present to accept the designation on behalf of the comic book, TV and film character Wonder Woman.
The designation ceremony will launch a campaign supporting Sustainable Development Goals #5 on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.
