We decided to tackle the infamous mannequin challenge to capture the horror of female genital mutilation (FGM) for young girls around the world. The statistics are staggering. FGM affects almost 200 million women and girls worldwide. In Chad alone almost 1 in 2 girls is a victim of the practice. In certain cases FGM can result in prolonged bleeding, infection, infertility and even death. It’s on all of us to act now to protect girls' rights and eliminate the practice.
