An updated 11 months with Bell's Palsy. A lot has changed since my last update. Many of you have reached out to know what my process for recovery has been and the key is forgetting about it. Allow it to run its course. About two months in I hit a breaking point and from there I decided to forget about it and live life. I encourage you to do the same. It will happen in time. I still have damage that may be permanent according to my doctor, and that is ok. We will get through it. So how are you doing on your journey? What facial exercises are you doing to take care of your Bell's Palsy? Are you doing Bell's Palsy treatment? If so, what?
Bell's Palsy:
Bell's palsy may be a reaction to a viral infection. It rarely occurs more than once.
Bell's palsy is characterized by muscle weakness that causes one half of the face to droop.
Bell's palsy usually resolves on its own within six months. Physical therapy can help prevent muscles from permanently contracting.
