UPCYCLING OLD STUFF INTO AWESOME TOYS
We all know how much new toys for children cost. It's easy to spend a whole fortune buying new exciting toys for kids. It's also not easy to keep a toddler both entertained and educated. Child development is not an easy task. However, we prepared an ultimate collection of upcycled toys for kids that you can easily make yourself and save a lot of money.
Learn how to make a fidget spinner yourself. There are many ways to do it – choose your favorite. You can use spinners and hot glue, plasticine, and many other things.
You can make a table football pitch out of a used shoe box. See yourself and you'll be surprised how easy it is! Another craft of this kind is office basketball. You can make any of these crafts and host a World Cup in your room!
Popsicle sticks that we often throw away can be turned into amazing puzzles. You'll need a handful of sticks and some paint for this craft.
A good old teddy bear can be a perfect secret stash. All you have to do is cut off the toy's head (OMG!) and put a glass jar inside. Use a head as a lid and store anything you want inside.
Old toy soldiers can be turned into a designer masterpiece. Place them between two bowls and bake carefully with the supervision of your parents. As a result, you can get a cool bowl. The coolest part about it is that it's really unique. You easily turn other old toys into something new and attractive – just check how we upcycled those plastic toy cows or a dinosaur.
A busy board is something that every toddler should have! There's probably nothing better for child's development than this idea. In order to make it, we used doorknobs, furniture wheels, locks, a phone and what not! Interaction with all those small objects and various activities help to improve fine motor skills. A kid can touch, spin, twist, open – this can keep a toddler entertained for hours. There's no need to buy an expensive busy board, you can just make one yourself.
Don't forget to tell us in the comments, which craft you liked most of all.
