This annual endowed lecture was presented on November 3, 2011, by Robert Desjarlais, Alice Stone Ilchman Chair in Comparative and International Studies in the Department of Anthropology, Sarah Lawrence College. The title of the lecture was "Cessation and Continuity: Poiesis in Life and Death among Nepal's Yolmo Buddhists."
