Harvard Divinity School hosted the second gathering of its Leadership Council on April 11 and 12, 2007. The meeting was an opportunity for distinguished leaders from a variety of fields to engage with issues surrounding religion and contemporary life, and to share their thoughts about how HDS can best promote public dialogue and wider understanding of religion. Madeleine Albright, 64th Secretary of State of the United States, participated in a conversation with the Leadership Council on April 11, 2007, moderated by Jon Meacham, editor of Newsweek.
