Climate change has brought us to a defining moment in human history. It is time to accelerate the global community’s response, propelling knowledge into action to limit impacts where we can and adapt where we must. At this October 6, 2019, event, Stanford faculty highlighted a number of emerging solutions and their promise for reducing greenhouse gases, protecting human health, and meeting humanity’s need for food, water, energy, and a safe, sustainable planet. Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne gave introductory remarks.
