My mother raised me with dirt between my toes, leaves in my hair, and a make-shift fishing pole in my hand. Even though I live in a big city now, the love and respect I gained for nature has stayed constant within me. I see people around me take meticulous care of their apartments and homes, but I think we’re forgetting our first home: EARTH.
We can walk city streets, but if we forget to look past the horizon of skyscrapers and buses, we can quickly forget that our planet is beautiful, irreplaceable, and our responsibility to take care of.
