The Department of Global Communications (DGC) has again partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment and the UN Foundation on a campaign to promote Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action.
The #AngryBirdsHappyPlanet social media and online campaign brings together the United Nations and talent from The Angry Birds Movie 2 to urge citizen action on climate change through the ActNow climate campaign.
The campaign will kick off with a presentation on Wednesday, 10 July, at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the SDG Media Zone in the Visitor Lobby.
A video PSA featuring the Angry Birds 2 Movie voice actors Rachel Bloom, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez, Peter Dinklage, Leslie Jones, Josh Gad and Jason Sudeikis will be premiered. A costumed Red and pig character will also be present for photo ops with audience and to support the launch.
