Assyriology is available as one of the tracks of the undergraduate Archaeology at Cambridge and is also an MPhil programme within the Department. It is the study of the languages, cultures, history and archaeology of ancient Mesopotamia (Sumer, Babylonia and Assyria). In this video, staff and students speak a little bit more about what drew them to the subject and how it is taught at Cambridge.
