I cut down the interview for a seminar last semester; I've been considering uploading this version for a while now since I know not everybody has 45 minutes to dedicate to watching a YouTube video. Over the past few days, #MeQueer has been trending on German twitter; it's a hashtag aimed at letting queer voices share their stories and pointing out injustices that have been and are being committed against the community. In connection with this exposing hashtag, I felt it important to get back to this topic on my channel, too; just this time with English subtitles (as you know, I usually don't have the time to supply those for long videos based on time constraints). So for subscribers who are surprised to see this pop up in their sub boxes again: Nothing new, just a shorter version! :) I've decided not to monetize this version of this interview because it's important to me to not be assumed to just be seeking a profit by "recycling" old videos; that would deterr from the point.
