Betty demonstrates how to make Creamy Italian Chicken. This slow cooker recipe was sent in by Kirsten Kite. She found this recipe online a few years ago, and it immediately became a staple at her home. When paired with rice, buttered pasta, or a green salad, this delicious entrée becomes a full meal!
Creamy Italian Chicken
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package of Italian dressing mix
1/2 cup water
1 can of fat free cream of chicken soup
1 16oz package of low fat cream cheese
To make this, just simply add the Italian dressing mix, water, and cream of chicken soup to a crock pot. Then, dollop the cream cheese into the crock pot and add the chicken. Let it cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
Even with the few ingredients it has, it is incredibly delicious. It pairs well with rice, buttered pasta, or salad.
Thanks for the great recipe, Kirsten.
Enjoy! --Betty :)
