At Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, students learn what it takes to manage real artists at some of the world’s most popular music festivals. This captivating docuseries follows the ups and downs of the Berklee Popular Music Institute’s students, as they prepare emerging artists for the biggest performances of their careers.

In Episode 4 of BPMI Live, students travel to Ohio for Clifford’s festival debut at Inkcarceration. Simultaneously, another group heads to Michigan, where Vivienne Artur takes the stage at Faster Horses for the festival’s 10th anniversary.

About the Berklee Popular Music Institute:
The Berklee Popular Music Institute's BPMI Live course is a one-year program that provides practical access to high levels of the music industry, with a focus on concerts and touring. Students learn how to navigate careers as they hone their skills in artist discovery, development, promotion, and more. Curriculum activities are designed in collaboration with today's top industry figures to reflect contemporary trends and practices in the music business. For the capstone of the program, students participate at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Bourbon & Beyond, where they work as artist managers, production and tour managers, and artist publicists. Alumni of the program have gone on to work at Interscope, Capitol Records, DreamWorks, Universal Music Group, Live Nation, AEG Live, Danny Wimmer Presents, YouTube, Google, CAA, Wasserman, WME, Red Bull, Spotify, Red Light Management, Kobalt, Sony, C3, and among more. Notable BPMI Live artists include Jobi Riccio B.M. ’20 (Yep Roc Records), Kieran Rhodes B.M. '24 (America's Got Talent), and Lizzy McAlpine ’20, who was featured as the program's first virtual performer during the COVID-19 shutdown, in March 2020.
