C4IR | Impact On The Ground | How data laws are facilitating healthcare innovation in Rwanda

In a country with limited computing infrastructure, health data needs to be shared across borders for patients to benefit from cutting-edge health technologies. Joris Cyizere, Head of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Rwanda explains how their contribution to the country’s data protection and privacy law is enabling data to be shared safely and securely to boost healthcare outcomes.
