This is one of the most frequent question that I have to deal while working with my clients - "Can they sue me?".
And my answer is always - YES. Anyone and everyone can sue you or your business as a result of a transaction (whether supply of services or products).
Remember - there was a person who sued McDonald's for $2.4 Million dollars for spilling a hot coffee on herself. So, yes you can and probably would be sued. The real question is whether you are in a best possible position to avoid it or to succeed in a case.
Having proper documents, policies and procedures, having a clear definition of your services or products, terms of transaction and more - these will protect you from unnecessary claims and will significantly improve your chances should you actually be sued.
Feel free to contact us at CBES to discuss your business legal and administrative needs and we will be glad to assist.
