Hello! My name is Jennifer. I study Spanish. I started studying in January. I take online classes with Immerse. On Immerse, I can take classes with controllers and glasses, but I prefer to use my computer.
I am a beginner in Spanish. I like to talk with other students. Sometimes I try to talk a little with people who work at the checkout in supermarkets. I live in Massachusetts, in the United States, and many people speak Spanish here. I want to learn Spanish because I would like to understand when I hear other people speaking Spanish around me. I hope to have many conversations in the future.
I try to read in Spanish for five or ten minutes every day. It helps me learn new words. In the fall, I looked for a private teacher, and I found her online. Since then, we meet once a week. After classes on Immerse, I usually write examples with the new words I learned. My private teacher corrects my mistakes. Then I read out loud. She corrects my pronunciation too. I choose a story each week, and we read it together. I really enjoy reading with her.
I am a beginner in Spanish, but I can talk about my family, the weather, my job, food, my activities, and other things. I love learning languages. I am going to continue studying Spanish next year! I want to thank Immerse for the opportunity to learn Spanish. Thank you!
