Cheerleading Won't Help Your Stock Trading

I'm part of a handful of different trading groups, not because I crave the knowledge but because I'm really trying to understand where new traders come from, and what the general questions are.

From my discoveries the majority of posts are often cheerleading posts. People are constantly cheering for their stocks to go in their direction. However, cheerleading doesn't win games!

It's the right actions and playing the game right that wins games.
Cheerleading is great for a morale boost or an emotional high, but the sports team doesn't ask the cheerleaders what strategy they should use for the game.

When you play the game of trading, cheerleading for your stock or position is useless. Nobody can hear you, and the market doesn't care. It moves organically and dynamically.

❓ Question for you... What was the last stock you cheered for? For me it was ROKU, but I knew it was pointless.

P.S. No disrespect to cheerleaders; I'm just using it to make a point.
