By 2030, the world will need an additional 18 million health workers to meet the needs of communities worldwide. Without the support of Frontline health workers, especially nurses and midwives and community health workers, the improvements that have been made in child and maternal survival and in curbing global disease challenges and more will be lost.

At the press conference, WHO and Johnson & Johnson will announce their shared objective of meeting that goal by 2030.

Speakers: Paul Stoffels, David Miliband, Katie Clift
