These 10 words are part of a series of 10 videos that lay out for you the precise pronunciation of all 100 of the most common vocabulary words in the English language.

With this series you what functions as a concise spoken English pronunciation guide. Of course English is comprised of thousands and thousands of words, but if you can master these—the 100 most common—you’ll be well on your way to sounding more confident and natural in your English pronunciation.

As a language learner you know that speaking English is quite different from writing it. To truly learn English you’ve got to put in tremendous effort around pronunciation.

Simply memorizing vocabulary words isn’t enough if you want to feel confident and truly, truly fluent! You’ve got to practice the physical movements necessary to pronounce each word as much like a native speaker as possible. That’s what I cover here.

Just like you, most English language learners will retain a bit of an accent from their native tongue. That is completely expected and totally natural—it lends a beautiful quality to your spoken English!
