Biweekly Geneva Press Briefing Chaired by Corinne Momal-Vanian, Director of the United Nations Information Service in Geneva.
The first part of the briefing featured an extensive briefing by David Nabarro, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Ebola.
The head of the United Nations’ response to the Ebola outbreak told reporters in Geneva that progress is being made in controlling the virus, but an enormous job still lies ahead. David Nabarro has recently returned from West Africa, where he visited all four countries now affected by Ebola - Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Mali.
