HDS Convocation was held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, under a white tent behind Andover Hall. The ceremony featured a welcome from Dean David N. Hempton and an address, "Devotion in the Study of Religion", by Houghton Professor of the Practice of Ministry Studies Stephanie Paulsell.
