30km by foot. That's how far away 9-year-old Kavekuwe lives from the nearest health facility. She is part of the Ovahimba tribe, the last semi-nomadic tribe in Namibia which faces unique challenges when it comes to health care access. Community health workers like Mavenunaije travel to remote communities to help bridge that gap.
