We're joining you again from Dance Times Square here in New York City. And today we're going to be showing you how to dance the cha-cha basic with a partner. We're going to start by getting into dance frame. Gentleman, extends his left arm, places his right hand on the lady's left shoulder blade, and the lady places her arm, and we're going to start with our left foot for gentlemen.Christina: And for the ladies, we're going to start going to the side with our right foot.Aaron: And we're going to start this on our count. One, two, three, four. And one, two, three, cha-cha, one, two, three, side, together, side. Forward, replace, side, together, side. And now let's take a look at this again from another angle, just to give you guys a little bit of a different perspective.Christina: And one really important note to make is when you're taking dance frame, ladies, you want to think about being slightly off-set to your partner. So for the lady, you'll think of being slightly to the left that way you don't step on each other's feet, because you're not directly in front of him.Aaron: And one, two, three, cha-cha, one, two, three, side, together, side. Rock, step, side, together, side. And that's how you dance the cha-cha basic with a partner.Christina: All right, guys, so let's go ahead and try that cha-cha basic with a partner with some music.
