Fruity pebbles cake in the rice cooker! This is the lightest, fluffiest, and easiest sponge cake you'll ever make — and we're making it even better with the addition of our favorite cereal, fruity pebbles! And guess what? It's all made in a rice cooker — it couldn't be easier to make or clean up.
RECIPE:
FRUITY PEBBLES RICE COOKER CAKE
From Nicole Iizuka, POPSUGAR Food
1 cup self-rising flour
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup fruity pebbles, ground
Non-stick cooking spray
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Fruity pebbles
Special equipment:
Rice cooker
In a bowl whisk together four, egg, milk, and sugar. Grind up fruity pebbles and fold into batter.
Spray inside of rice maker with non-stick cooking spray and pour batter into the bowl. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
While the cake is cooking, whip together heavy whipping cream and sugar.
When cake is finished cooking, flip onto a plate and cover with whipped cream and garnish with morefruity pebbles.
