I love dishes you can make in one pot and they're super quick and easy. So here's a fantastic rice dish that you can make by throwing everything into your rice cooker. Chop up some of your favorite vege's. I like to use some fresh garlic, onion, red, green, yellow bell peppers, just to get a variety of colors and flavors. Put all that into the bottom of your rice cooker and then to that you add in your rice. I always cook my grains in some really strong vegetable broth and to this I stir in one teaspoon of turmeric and half a teaspoon of nutmeg. Pour the broth over the rice. Give it a bit of a stir. Put the lid on and let the rice cooker do all the work. Once it's finished, freshen it up a little bit with some freshly chopped herbs and some nice green onions. So there you go; the fantastic rice dish that anyone can enjoy.
