I ended up in Germany working with the HandWerksKammer in Koblenz and studied welding technology there. Came back from Europe, [and] a lot of my friends had already come here, so I decided Austin's a great place.I ended up in a jewelry shop casting gold and silver. Loved it, fell in love with it, and now I actually am here at my own school teaching that to other folks.I started my school here—Creative Side jewelry Academy—four years ago I'm here in Austin, online at creativeside.org. And we teach workshops and classes. We also rent studio space.
