How to Start Writing a Book: Choosing a Winning Topic

Want to know how to start writing a book? The starting point is to look within yourself and ask what message you have that could really benefit or change the lives of others. What message do you have for your children? What message do you want to share that burns inside if you?
You often have so many ideas, but you have prioritize them so start by writing at the top of a page or white board “what are all the things I would want to talk about or include in this book if I was going to write it?” Then you just simply write your answer to this question.
When I start writing a book this is my technique. I'll end up sometimes with three long pages of ideas.
To reiterate, pick a subject that you really care about, and write down all the items and topics you would like to include in your book -- that’s how to start writing a book.
