i hiked everest base camp (part 1)

Hiking to Everest Base Camp has been on my bucket list for a few decades now. I finally pulled the trigger and booked tge trip over because I wasn’t getting any younger! Did I mske it??? Would you ever hike to Everest Basecamp?

I’ve compiled all of my clips together from our Everest Base Camp (ebc) journey in April! It’s still so surreal that we went to Nepal to trek to base camp- stay tuned for the next part to see how the trip goes and if I make it to ebc. What we went through was so surreal, and like nothing I’ve ever done before! COMMENT BELOW????????a bucket list dream you have!!

I signed up for this trip almost a year ago and everyone kept telling me I WAS CRAZY (seriously though what’s new lol)! I started training and researching what I needed to pack and man was it hard to narrow it down…I olwas only allowed to pack 33 POUNDS for 2.5 weeks of being away. That in itself was a huge challenge.

The trip started out great until we had a 10 hour delay trying to get to the Lukla airport, which is known as the most dangerous airport in the world (seriously look it up). Once we finally caught a flight, we landed and had to trek about 5 hours in the dark going over rocks and bridges. Honestly, it was terrifying and we were exhausted and hungry. The next morning we started our trek to base camp and WOW what a journey it was!!
