On day 4 and 5 of our trip through the Andes in Ecuador we show you around in the southern part of the country along the "streets of the volcanos". Cuenca is the 3rd largest city and home to another beautiful old town which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Just a short drive from Cuenca you can step back in time by exploring the iconic Inka ruins of Ingapirca which are actually dating back to the pre-Inka times.
After a visit to one of the many markets we show you more things to do in Cuenca - like seeing the city from above. We finish our trip in style by crashing a local village party in Quingeo where we get to see dressed up Guinea Pigs, a crazy cow and many fireworks while dancing to typical Ecuadorian music.
As part of Team Germany aka #TeamDe I'm exploring the Andes region in Ecuador (La Sierra) within the Feel Again Project. In this project 18 artists from 4 different countries are exploring the 4 different regions of Ecuador.
