In the nuclear sector, women are still underrepresented. At the IAEA, women now account for around 29 percent of the professional staff, but their numbers are growing. To commemorate International Women’s Day, which this year has the theme “Be Bold for Change”, four women who work in the traditionally male-dominated fields of nuclear safeguards, security and safety, discuss their experiences.
