Mahalo's Windows expert Sean Hewitt shows you how to view photos and video in Windows Media Center.

1. Click on the Start button in the bottom-left of the
Taskbar and click on Windows Media Center in the menu.2. Use the arrow keys to navigate your various files within the media center and select the Pictures + Videos tab. From here you can select the Video Library, Play Favorites or Picture Library.
3. For this example we'll start off with the Picture Library. Hit Enter on your keyboard when you have selected it (or click it with the mouse).
4. You may also change the style of how the screen looks. Press the right-click (drop-down menu) button on the keyboard to prompt a menu. You have options to Delete, Rotate, View Small, Manage Library and alter Settings. Press the backspace/back button when you would like to return to the photo library.
5. To view one of these files just click on it or hit Enter on the keyboard once it has been selected. The photo will be presented fullscreen. You may browse other photos by using the left and right arrow buttons on your keyboard. When you would like to go back to the library, hit the backspace button.
6. You may also browse through the library through specific Tags, Date Taken or Ratings options located above the photos. Clicking the Slide Shows option will play all of your photos together as a slide show.
7. To view videos, hit Enter on the video library or click with the mouse. Then do the same for the video you would like to watch, once you have selected it. To return to the main menu, hit backspace twice. This will allow you to navigate the Media Player while still watching your video. Scroll down to the Now Playing tab and click on it to return to viewing your video unobstructed.
