Mahone Bay ended up being one of our favourite destinations that we visited on our epic Nova Scotia, Canada road trip. One of the things we loved the most was just how charming the town is and how easy it is to get around on foot. After parking our car we ended up being within walking distance of all the churches, museums, restaurants, cafes and breweries that we wanted to visit. Another aspect that is great is that you have many nearby trails, islands and beaches worth checking out. You can spend time enjoying the charming town and then head out into nature to make the most of your day. We found locals very friendly and had many pleasant conversations. Overall, Mahone Bay left a tremendous impression upon on us not only as a travel destination but as a great place to potentially live. If you're visiting Nova Scotia be sure to add Mahone Bay to the list of must-visit destinations on your schedule.

Greetings from Mahone Bay. This is a place we've been wanting to visit and it is like a 10 or 15 minute drive from where we're staying in Lunenburg. Very convenient and very easy to access. We are continuing our road trip along Nova Scotia South Shore and today we're spending the day here in Mahone Bay. So far our impressions of this place is just that it is incredibly charming. It's the most relaxing town. We're just gonna explore on foot all day.

And that was our day trip to Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. We took the scenic road back to Lunenburg along the lighthouse coastal road driving past mater's cove and detouring to herman's island where we spotted a deer. It was so peaceful and such a beautiful part of nova scotia. It really won over our hearts on this trip.
