We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Marbella, Spain on Auguust 2025.
Welcome to Marbella, the glamorous jewel of Spain's Costa del Sol, nestled between the Sierra Blanca mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. While famous for its luxurious yachts, designer boutiques, and celebrity visitors, Marbella's true heart lies in its beautifully preserved historic old town, or “Casco Antiguo”. This is a city with a deep history, with archaeological findings suggesting human settlement since the Paleolithic era. It was later a Roman settlement and then a significant Moorish enclave known as "Marbil-la”. Today, Marbella is a cosmopolitan city of around 150,000 residents, renowned for its unique microclimate, which provides warm weather year-round, and for having one of the most picturesque old towns in Andalusia. The currency is the Euro (€), and Spanish is the official language. The city is a delightful blend of two worlds: the modern luxury of the Golden Mile and Puerto Banús, and the authentic Andalusian charm of its historic core.
