In October 2022 Professor KJ Patel was appointed as Chief Scientist at Cancer Research UK. Continuing in his role as Director of the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine at the University of Oxford, Professor Patel discusses his previous work, what it's like to be a researcher at Oxford, and the what the future holds for cancer research.
