United Nations - Walikale town, capital of the territory of Walikale in North Kivu Province in the DRC, is one of the few islands of stability in the province. To help Walikale stay this way, MONUSCO is conducting a series of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs). Among them, installation of street lights in town. Since the beginning of July the streets of Walikale have been lit at night.
