***What is the difference between regular and seamless hair extensions?***
Seamless extensions are different from regular extensions in the way that they are designed and manufactured, although, we find it all just comes down to personal preference. Seamless extensions have a thin silicone base, which means they have a unique stretch and more flexibility with movement, while our classic collection has a fabric stitched base. Our seamless extensions are 50% thinner at the base of the wefts than our classic extensions, which means you will barely feel them when they’re clipped in. The clips, similar to our regular extensions, are hand stitched with love and are secure and sturdy.
***Who should wear seamless hair extensions?***
Seamless hair extensions can be worn by anyone, as they are completely safe and damage-free. Since the seamless collection is 180 grams, these sets are perfect for those who have thin or regular thickness hair. Seamless extensions will give you the thickness and length you are looking for, with ultimate comfort.
***How to care for seamless hair extensions?***
Just like any set of clip-in extensions (seamless or regular), we advise you to care for your Luxies with love. The better you care for your extensions, the longer they will last you. Since they are remy human hair extensions, they can be styled and washed just like your regular hair, but we do recommend to always use heat protectant before applying heat, and using hot tools on a low to medium heat setting. With washing, since hair extensions don’t get the same amount of natural oils from the scalp, there really isn’t a need to wash them all that often. We recommend every 15-20 wears or so, or even less often if you rarely apply hair products to the extensions. The point of washing extensions after some time is to wash out the product buildup if there is any, deep condition them, and that way restore some moisture into them. With your seamless set, we recommend to be more gentle while handling the clips because they are stitched onto the silicone base directly. We advise against pulling or pressing the clips with strong force, as it may eventually cause damage to your set.
***Do seamless extensions shed less than our regular extensions?***
Luxy Hair clip-in extensions, classic or seamless, rarely experience shedding. While the base of our seamless sets are thinner, they do not shed any more because of this.
The type of care that is put into your extensions will affect how much it sheds. With proper care, shedding will be virtually non-existent. You can minimize shedding by maintaining your Luxies and gently brushing them before and after each use.

Same as with our classic collection packaging, the Seamless Luxy Hair box is printed with love and care using 100% recyclable box, which is made with FSC paper and printed with soy inks. You can keep and re-use this box as a reminder that caring about our planet can be stylish!
