Come join us as we give you an apartment tour in Germany of the mansion we were staying at in Nuremberg (Nürnberg) as an AirBNB rental. This cozy little room we rented on the bottom floor of a 4 storey mansion in the outskirts of Nuremberg, Germany. This place only has a single owner and has a gated garden, courtyard and walkway that is far removed from the main street. Join as we show you the room and what is inside this cozy little place. As typical with most German apartments the shower is tiny and the ceilings are high. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we got caught up on work.

Germany Apartment Tour in a Nuremberg Mansion Travel Video Transcript:
Well hello and welcome to Nuremberg (Nürnberg). It is time for another room tour because we have booked ourselves an AirBNB and this one is pretty special.
Like when we were scrolling online and we found this one I was like that's the one. Because basically we're in a mansion. I know our room looks pretty small but we are staying in four floor mansion that is owned by one single family and they have this really cool courtyard out front and we're like far removed from the main street.
Like you have to walk down this little trail to get here. Exactly. It is like the coolest AirBNB I've ever stayed in.
So we thought let's make a room tour. And here we are.
Okay, so this is a studio so once again what you see is what you get. And let's start with the bedroom side of things.
So we've got our double bed and this is one thing I love. Oh my gosh. About German beds.
You each get your own duvet so you're not fighting in the night with the blankets.
So this is our dining area slash office. Actually the reason we booked this AirBNB, which is kind of in the outskirts of town, is because we had a lot of video editing to do. Yeah, so our plan wasn't really to sightsee. We just wanted to lock ourselves in a room and do la lah.
Basically yeah, a tonne of work we had to catch up on. Yeah. But the great thing about this particular city is that it has great public transportation. Mmmhmm.
What is it the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn? Yeah. And so were even though we weren't like in the downtown core it was it only took us a few minutes yeah to get downtown. Yeah. And we were so close to the station so yeah it was kind of the best of both worlds. And also when you're staying away from the city center you end up saving a bit of money.
Massive. High ceilings.
Absolutely massive. And the windows are also massive but it is kind of like backlighting the room. Right.
Show the door too because that is also massive. So what you're five foot eight?
Five seven. Five seven. Okay. So big doors, big windows, big ceilings. Yes. And I like the kitchen. It is pretty modern. Yeah, the kitchen is really cool. Uh, we had it basically we had everything we needed. I loved the coffee maker they left for us.
I think we paid like $34 dollars a night? Wow. Which I think is one of the cheapest AirBNBs we've had. Yeah, anytime you can get kind of your own room or your own place for less than $30 dollars for less than forty a night in Europe is a pretty good deal.
Especially in Western Europe. Yeah, that is true.
So yeah, um bathroom. Bathroom. The bathroom. Doo doo doo.
One set of doors. Hmmmm.
That brings us to this I don't know what you call this? It is like a little folding room. Well, I guess this is where you keep your there is the laundry rack, there is the cleaning supplies. Let's call it a cleaning supply corner.
We had a day and half of sightseeing in Nuremberg (Nürnberg) and we really enjoyed it so that is coming up on our channel. We have a little travel guide for you.
And now that you seen the place I think it is time to go. So shall we? Let me show you the door. Shall we. Off you go.
This is part of our Travel in Germany video series showcasing German food, German culture and German cuisine.
