Nuremberg is the second-largest city of the German federal state after its capital Munich and it's the 14th largest city in Germany. Nuremberg is remembered as the site of the 1930's Nazi Party Rallies, the Allied bombings during the war, and the post-war Nuremberg trials. However, the city's fascinating history dates back to medieval times, when the city was founded in the 11th century.
