Oxford University researchers have found that their COVID-19 vaccine is highly effective in interim results from Phase III human trials.
Our preliminary data indicates that the vaccine is 70.4% effective. Excitingly, tests on two different dose regimes show that that our vaccine could be 90% effective if administered at a half dose and then at a full dose. It was shown to be 62% effective if administered in two full doses.
Our partners will now begin submitting for regulatory approval, meaning we’re one step closer to supplying it at low cost around the world, using existing vaccine distribution methods.
