Let's try a quick listening quiz. I call this format "One Word Out!" One word in my short list doesn't belong. It should be taken out of the list because it doesn't have the long /u/ sound. ???? Practice on your own. Read the list of words aloud. Hear and feel the difference in vowel sounds.
????Special thanks to Aviva Katzenell and Alisha Sarubbi from Florida Atlantic University for introducing me to the technique of "flooding," which they in turn learned from Karen Taylor of the Color Vowel Chart. I modified the activity for online shorts/reels. The version on Instagram is also different because of the additional features available.
????Like the lesson? Please consider purchasing a Super Thanks. All revenue from my YT membership program as well as Super Thanks, Super Stickers, and Super Chats helps me continue my online work. Thank you!????
