This PULSE Elective focuses on the history of contemporary music in Memphis and the Mississippi Delta. It is based on the award winning film Take Me To The River directed by Martin Shore. This course includes scenes from the film, original soundtrack, and includes mix tracks from the soundtrack masters. Also included is an entire year's worth of learning activities written by Dr. Dru Davison, the head of the fine arts department in Shelby County, Tennessee.
