A conversation with Ernesto Valiente, Professor of Theology at Boston College, and the Honorable Jose E. Aleman, Consul General of El Salvador for New England. Valiente spoke to the theological foundation of Romero and its transformative effects on his eventual political stance against the military oppression of El Salvador. Aleman addressed the impact of Romero's leadership on the oppressed and the poor, and also about how Romero speaks to us today, fulfilling his prophetic words shortly before his assassination: "Si me matan, resucitare en el pueblo Salvadoreno" ("If they kill me, I will resuscitate in the People of El Salvador").
