United Nations - South Sudan stands on the brink of an all-out ethnic civil war, which "would dissolve into another Rwanda-like situation, the Chairperson of the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan, Yasmin Sooka has warned. Ms. Sooka was Speaking during a special session of the UN Human Rights Council on the situation in South Sudan, held in Geneva today, 14 December 2016. She informed the Council that the scale of sexual violence in the world’s youngest country "already matches that of the Bosnian war."
