The Stanford Graduate School of Business diploma ceremony was held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Maples Pavilion. In his remarks to the 550 degree recipients, Dean Jonathan Levin encouraged the graduates to be leaders who act with empathy, courage, and responsibility as they build a future world they may not yet be able to see. Carlos Brito, MBA '89, CEO of Anheuser-Busch InBev, also addressed the group, sharing that "A higher order of motivation is not only about you, but about other people and the world around you. As you enter this new phase, make sure you have a measure, a test, that is bigger than just you." In summary, 423 students received MBA degrees, 22 PhDs, 104 Master of Science in Management degrees and 1 Master of Arts in Business Research degrees.
