In January 2022, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into force, making East Asia home to the world’s biggest free trade agreement.

Against a global backdrop of rising protectionism and increasing trade tensions, what role can the RCEP play in reducing policy risks and promoting economic stability and integration?
