No matter the type, size or industry in which your business operates, the most important document for a business will always be you "business agreement".
Whether your business supplies services of products, there is always an agreement - it could be in writing, verbal or by conduct, but it is there.
I always suggest our clients to have a proper, simple, clear and straight-forward agreement in writing.
Make sure your business agreement contains the following provisions:
a. Describe in detail what is exactly that you are supplying;
b. Describe in equal level of detail what you are no supplying;
c. Define the stages of transaction and who is responsible for what;
d. Define at which point the ownership for products (or risk of loss) is transferred to a client;
e. Set explicit limits on your liability;
f. Unforeseen circumstances - how will Force Majeure affect your transaction;
g. Who is responsible for and who bears the costs of transportation, logistics and customs arrangements;
h. When is your agreement considered completed.

And remember - having a template agreement prepared by a professional lawyer will always be more cost and resources effective then doing it yourself. Make sure that the lawyer who prepares your agreement understands the nature of your business, the nature of transactions and all the processes related to a transaction.
