Purple shampoo and purple conditioner are standard haircare products that are highly saturated with purple pigment. Why would you do that? Well, purple is the color opposite of yellow on the color wheel. So if you have ever dyed your hair blonde or have blondish highlights in your hair, you'll notice that the hair will naturally fade over time to a bronzy yellow or orange undertone. There are a number of factors that can cause this, including your underlying hair color, sun damage, hard water deposit, product residue, etc, and using purple shampoo and conditioner can help re-tone your hair to the dyed color in between "expensive" hair appointments. You may even find that you can go further in-between hair appointments simply by using purple shampoo and conditioner. Aside from blonde and light colored hair, my purple products can also help make gray hair look much better!

I would recommend using a purple shampoo and conditioner 1-2 times per week, max, and sit on the hair for between 2-5 minutes, for best results. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO USE IT EVERY DAY! Since every person and their hair is different, and as you become comfortable using purple products, you can dial in your usage levels and wait times to achieve your best-looking results.

In this video, I'll give you all the pro's and con's, in full transparency, to using purple shampoos and conditioners. It does not dye your hair long term, it simply re-tones the lighter colored hair. I will also tell you in how to use these products in this video, so be sure to take note. I formulated my purple products with a more vibrant color to help achieve best results, without staining your skin and shower.
