I get that videos need a “hook” to be engaging.
But this is fitness guys, we need to be a bit more serious when it comes to talking about good vs bad exercises.
While the alternative exercises presented in the video are good exercises to target abs/obliques (core), absolutely NONE of them are a suitable replacement for a “Dumbbell Standing Oblique Crunch”. ????
This exercise has also been deemed “bad” because it can “make your waist bigger” which is 100% not true.
If your waist is getting bigger from this exercise its likely because:
1️⃣ YOU got fatter
2️⃣ YOU are on steroids and your internal organs got bigger (roid gut)
So if you haven’t trained with the DB Standing Oblique Crunch in a while, add 3 sets of 12-15 reps to your next workout. ????
