There are some really terrible stocks out there—crappy ones that some people say are constantly going down. But if they meet the right criteria, you can still trade these low-performing companies. In fact, companies that have been consistently declining often have a certain level of predictability.
Take Intel, for example. It’s been trending down recently, but it’s still tradable. This is because it has the volume, the liquidity, and a tight bid-ask spread. You can work with these stocks that are trending downward; just approach them differently than a typical buy-and-hold investor might. Instead, consider options strategies, like at-the-money vertical spreads on the bearish side.
There are plenty of ways to trade these “crappy” stocks as long as they’re tradable and meet the right criteria. If you’re interested in learning about this criteria, drop me a line below, and I’ll be happy to share it with you.
